This Privacy Policy explains how Rylee Bikman Photography & Design LLC (“Rylee Bikman Photography,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects the personal information you provide when you use this website or book a session with us. By using the site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Contact & booking forms: your name, email address, an optional phone number, your message, and — if you choose to share it — the name of the person who referred you.
• Contracts: when you book, we collect the details needed for your agreement — name, email, phone, session date and location, package details, and your typed electronic signature.
• Gift cards: the purchaser’s and recipient’s names and email addresses and any personal message you include.
• Client galleries: if you favorite or download photos, we store the first name and email address you enter so we can label your selections.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe’s secure fields — we never see or store your full card number. We receive only a confirmation of payment and limited details such as the amount and the last four digits.

Information collected automatically

• Aggregate analytics: we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights) that measure page views and site performance in aggregate. They do not use tracking cookies and do not build a profile of you.
• Gallery cookies: when you open a private client gallery we set a small cookie to remember that you entered the correct access code, and a random device identifier so we can show you which photos you have downloaded. See our Cookie Policy for details.

How We Use Your Information

• Respond to your inquiries and provide quotes and availability.
• Prepare contracts, take bookings, process payments, and deliver your photos.
• Send transactional emails (booking confirmations, contracts, invoices, receipts, and gallery links).
• Operate, secure, and improve the website.
• Comply with our legal and tax obligations.

We do not send marketing or promotional email blasts, and we do not use your information for advertising.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed to provide our services:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Supabase — secure database hosting for bookings, contracts, and gallery data.
• Cloudflare R2 — storage and delivery of your photos.
• Resend — sending transactional email.
• Vercel — website hosting and aggregate analytics.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Data Retention

We keep booking, contract, and payment records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, accounting, and tax requirements. Client gallery links remain active for a limited time (typically 90 days) as described in your contract, after which the gallery may be archived or removed. You may ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep.

Your Choices & Rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email ryleebikmanphotography@gmail.com. You can also control or clear cookies through your browser settings — see our Cookie Policy. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act; we honor those requests where they apply.

Children’s Privacy

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. When minors are photographed, we work with their parent or guardian, who provides the necessary consent in the session contract.

Data Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards — encrypted connections, access controls, and payment handling through Stripe — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
